Garth Knight is Wilton Knight's son. However he is evil. And he looks exactly like Michael Knight. Michael Knights face was contructed in Garth's image. Garth feels that his father, Wilton, made MIchael look like Garth as a replacement. So now Garth wants to kill Michael Knight. Garth created a semi with the molecular bonded shell. Garth named this truck as Goliath. When he confronted Michael, KITT nearly got distroyed. They rebuilt him with a lazer eventually which he used against Goliath and succeeded.
