I've figured out how to r e-create all of K.I.T.T. except how to make him talk like he does on the TV show AKA William Daniels , The C-mode turn the car from hard top to convertible, and super pursuit mode. Message: I remember watching my first 15 minutes of Knight Rider way back in September of '82 (when I was a mere 26 years of age). There was some motorcycle driving over the top of KITT's roof. It was after that episode that KR was a Friday/Sunday penomenon for me until I got my first VCR in '85. I have some of the 84-85 and 85-86 episodes on tape.
